Why the noise rules need a closer look

Section 97A(2)(a) of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Regulation 2021 excludes SSD consents from the general noise-condition switch-off in section 97A(1). Do not assume the listed conditions have disappeared because the venue is licensed. The appropriate response still depends on the noise source, the relevant approval and current law.
